I am hoping someone can assist me with a very peculiar problem. I've seen many posts about similar issues, but none of the suggestions have helped this one particular computer I am working on.The user has the following: Windows 7 Pro, Office 2010 Pro, SharePoint Designer 2013, Internet Explorer 11. All service packs and updates have been installed for these applications.We are running on-premise SharePoint 2013 (up-to-date on patching, service packs, etc.). When the user tries to open any Office attachment it takes 19 seconds for the application (PowerPoint, Word, or Excel) to start opening. PDF files open fine.In the past I have been able to install parts or all of SharePoint Designer 2013 to replace the OWSSUPP.DLL and update the add-on that IE uses and it worked for a while.

This doesn't appear to be working any more though and not sure if a recentWindows update has changed something.In IE I've disabled Autodetect in the proxy settings, tried with compatibility mode on and off, added the site to the Trusted Zone security settings and reset all IE settings back to default. I have also verified that I am using the 32 bit versionof IE. The only workaround I have is to enable Developer Tools (press F12) in IE and the files then open up fine (very weird).Nothing appears to be working and I am about out of ideas. Has anyone seen this issue before and if so have you found a solution aside from reinstalling Windows?Any help would be greatly appreciated.-Will.
